Notice regarding data subject rights

What are your rights?

In view of the fact that we process personal data about you, you are entitled to rights that we would like to inform you about in this section. You can exercise all your rights with us in any manner that suits you and that allows us to verify that it is indeed you making the request (allows us to verify your identity), and we will try to accommodate you as much as possible. However, in order to be able to accommodate you in the best way possible, we would like to ask you to exercise your rights in writing at the address of the company Hotel SLAVIA, spol. s r. o., with its registered office at Solniční 243/17, Brno-město, 602 00 Brno, Company ID: 44013531. The Data Protection Officer is Lotty Majorová, e-mail: lmajorova@hotelslavia.cz, tel.: 00420 739 050 470.

Right of access

You have the right to access the personal data we process about you, as well as the right to information about what personal data we process about you, for how long, what the purposes of their processing are, to whom we disclose them, and whether we use them for automated decision-making (or how such automated decision-making works).
We will provide you with a copy of your personal data free of charge. Only if this involved multiple copies would we ask you for the necessary reimbursement for their provision.

Right to rectification

If you find that we are processing incomplete or incorrect personal data about you, you have the right to have us correct the personal data or, if required by the purpose of processing this personal data, to have us complete it.

Right to erasure

You also have the right to erasure of your personal data that we store and process about you. In order for you to request erasure, one of the following reasons must apply:

(i) your personal data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected or processed;
(ii) we are processing your personal data unlawfully;
(iii) you have withdrawn the consent on the basis of which the processing of your personal data was carried out, and we have no other authorization (legal basis) to continue processing this personal data;
(iv) you object to the processing of your personal data, if this personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing (e.g. sending commercial communications);
(v) you object to the processing of your personal data that we process on the basis of legitimate interest, and if we are unable to demonstrate that the legitimate interest outweighs your right to erasure;
(vi) there is a specific legal reason that requires the erasure of this personal data;
(vii) we are processing a child's personal data without parental consent having been given for such processing.

We would like to point out that a situation may arise in which your personal data cannot be erased on the basis of your withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data or on the basis of your request for erasure of personal data. This is particularly the case where the processing of your personal data is required of us by law. Should this situation arise, we will inform you of the reason on the basis of which your personal data cannot be erased despite your explicit request for erasure of personal data.

Right to data portability

Another right you can exercise is the so-called right to data portability. On the basis of this right, you can request the provision of your personal data that was provided to us on the basis of your consent and that we process automatically. We will provide you, upon request, with your personal data that meets these conditions in a commonly used, structured and machine-readable format, or, at your request, transfer it to another controller of your choosing, provided this is technically feasible.

Right to restriction of processing

In cases where you feel that your processed personal data is incorrect, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data for the time necessary to verify the accuracy of your personal data and to correct it if necessary.

You also have this right in the following cases:

(i) the processing of your personal data is unlawful, but you do not wish for your personal data to be erased;
(ii) we no longer need your personal data for the purpose for which we processed it, but you insist on its processing (in particular, retention) for the establishment, exercise or defense of your legal claims;
(iii) you have objected to the processing of your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest, whereby the restriction of processing in this case will be valid for the time necessary to determine whether our legitimate interest outweighs your right to have your personal data no longer processed.

Right to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of so-called legitimate interest

With regard to the fact that we process some of your personal data based on legitimate interest, you have the right to object to this processing, on the basis of which we will assess whether it is indeed in our legitimate interest to process your personal data for the given purpose or whether your right to have your personal data no longer processed prevails

Right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing

You have the right to object to us processing your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing (e.g. for the purpose of sending commercial communications). In such a case, we will stop processing your personal data for this purpose without further ado.

Right to complain

If, in your view, all of the above-mentioned rights are insufficient, or you believe that we are violating your rights in any way, you have the option to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. You can file the complaint through contact with the Office for Personal Data Protection, available on the page https://www.uoou.cz/podatelna-uradu/os-1006 .
